Who We Are
An Active Community of Christian Scientists
Our community is a group of forward-thinking, yet diverse Christian Scientists where each is loved and honored. We are dedicated to spiritual growth and progress.
Nestled on 20 acres in beautiful southern California, The Willows provides access to the many churches, activities, entertainment venues and events this area has to offer. Located midway between Los Angeles and San Diego, this peaceful, gated community is set on a lovely campus with walking paths, mountain views and year-round good weather.
The Willows is an independent living community for Christian Scientists who are 55+. New residents must be able to get around without aid in order to be admitted.
Residents enjoying a game of pickleball on our temporary pickleball court which we set up in our parking lot.
Our Mission Statement
To offer Christian Scientists age 55+ a beautiful rental community with more than 100 neighbors who share their values. In all it does, The Willows strives to support spiritual growth, continuing independence, joyful activity, and caring for each other and the wider world.

Our Board of Directors
We are organized as a not-for-profit foundation that oversees the community and its property and rentals. All members of our Board of Directors are Christian Scientists.

Our Residents Association Board
The Willows Residents Association represents the interests of the residents in the selection and implementation of activities. This group is a vehicle for communication from the residents to the Administration. It also welcomes new residents to the community; manages the funds of the Association and metaphysically supports The Willows Community.
